Husband and wife Garrett Kern and Jacquie Wallner produce ceramics in Oak Park, just outside of Chicago. Chefs by training, and generally good with their hands, many of the pieces they create for Far Fetched Ceramics focus on food, cooking, beverage, and housewares.

Signature pieces:

Our signature pieces are meticulously carved fruit bowls. Wheel-thrown then hand-cut with an exacto blade, these bowls are dramatic and functional. We also make garlic graters, coffee pour overs, kitchenware, and seasonal decor. And let's not forget our beloved dog accessories, which are specially designed to bring joy and style to your furry friends' lives.

Sustainable shipping:

We package and ship our ceramics using recycled boxes and shipping materials. We partner with EcoShip, a non-profit in Chicago which collects and distributes used but perfectly acceptable packaging materials. So even if your item is packed with plastic, these materials are diverted from the landfill
