Imperfect Ceramic Coffee Pour Over: Hand-Thrown Pottery Dripper, Fits #02 Filter

$34.99
*These are imperfect pour overs that function great but have cosmetic flaws. We donate our profits at the end of the year to charity, and we think these are still quite nice enough for some fundraising!

Make the smoothest brewed coffee of your life with this hand-made ceramic coffee pour-over! Each dripper is crafted one-at-a-time on a pottery wheel and then by hand to attach handles and add spiral grooves (to regulate the perfect rate of extraction). Far Fetched Ceramics' owner and coffee enthusiast uses one every day! A thoughtful gift for coffee enthusiasts, this fits over a standard mug and allows you to brew the *perfect* cup of coffee using widely available Hario V60 #02 filters.

"White Salt" is a matte and mottled glaze that breaks with brown rusted tones over texture. Think of "Blue Salt" as a variation with a subtle blue tint. "Black Salt" is a luscious matte grey-black glaze with areas of lighter grey frost. "Oil Spot Black" is a semi-gloss, chocolatey dark brown with little spots resembling oil slicks.

Approximately 4"x4"x6"wide with the handle

Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Lead and cadmium-free.

This listing is for 1 coffee pour over and does not include filters or mugs shown in select pictures and video. Each piece is one of a kind and differs in minor ways from the example photos :)

To brew a *perfect* cup:
-Boil a kettle of water
-With a #02 filter inside, stack the pour-over on a standard mug
-Heat the mug by rinsing the filter with about a cup of hot water. Discard this paper-rinsed water.
-While heating a kettle of water to just under boiling (205F,) add 20g of coffee grounds to the preheated pour-over
-Pour a total of 300g of hot water in two batches, waiting about 10 seconds between the first and second pours of hot water
-Once the coffee is mostly done dripping, enjoy!
